Since graduating college and moving across the country, I have had so much more time on my hands. With that time I have been reading so much. Over the last several years I had bought so many books but never had the time to read them, so I started picking them up.
When I was home for a long weekend in May, I found The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, in a box (mostly of unread books). I had started it before but thought it was so slow so I put it down and never finished it. I decided to give it another try and I am so glad I did! It is full of witty humor and sarcasm of a young nanny who takes care of the only child of upper class Manhattan folk. It was definitely different than anything I had read before, but still an easy and fun read. When I was home again last week I made sure to grab the next one, The Nanny Returns and I am so excited to dive in!
