Can you believe that its December already? If I could, I would just lounge around in my Christmas jammies all day, watch Christmas movies and drink hot chocolate. Unfortunately, though, my vacation doesn’t start for another 3 weeks so until then I hope to participate in as many festive activities as I can, because let’s face it California…its hard to get in the Christmas spirit when there is no snow on the ground and its 70 and sunny, am I right? (Seriously, how do you people do it out here?)
RECAP of NOVEMBER GOALS
Finish Christmas Cards. Not quite…almost there. But that’s okay I still got some time.
Start Cross-fit. I did it! I went to my first cross-fit class last week. Although I wanted to cry it was a good class and a good workout even though I couldn’t walk for the next few days.
Get away. This didn’t work out, unfortunately. We were planning to go camping this past weekend, but with the forecasted rain and my migraine, we didn’t go. We were bummed but it ended up being a relaxing and refreshing weekend for us both.
GOALS for DECEMBER
Bake Christmas Cookies
Get a Christmas Tree
Attend a local Christmas concert
Celebrate the hubs birthday
Drink lots of Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Watch Love Actually (confession: I’ve never seen it)
Drive around the peninsula with the hubs and look at Christmas lights
Read the Christmas story in all the gospels
Put up Christmas lights
Finish and mail out Christmas cards
Read Wuthering Heights
Watch our favorite Christmas movies, such as Elf & Home Alone
What are some of your favorite holiday traditions that I should add to my list?
