It’s hard to believe that another Christmas season has come and gone. It seemed like just yesterday we were wrapping presents and packing our comfiest sweaters for our trip east to see our families. And now its mid-January and we’re back into the daily grind.
Even through the busy Christmas season, I managed to do pretty well on my festive December goals.
RECAP of DECEMBER GOALS
Bake Christmas Cookies Get a Christmas Tree Attend a local Christmas concert Celebrate the hubs birthday Drink lots of Peppermint Hot Chocolate Watch Love Actually Drive around the peninsula with the hubs and look at Christmas lights Read the Christmas story in all the gospels Put up Christmas lights Finish and mail out Christmas cards
Read Wuthering Heights- I know, I was doing so well on this festivities list….BUT I realized that the version of Wuthering Heights that I had was a different version that not many people liked, so I decided not to read it.
Watch our favorite Christmas movies, such as Elf & Home Alone
Menu Plan– I will do really well at this for a consistent week or two and then it will fall apart. I haven’t been able to get into a good rhythm with menu planning and grocery shopping but I know it will really help me out.
Take more pictures– We got lots of camera goodies for Christmas, so I want to continue to stay motivated at taking pictures.
Take better care of my teeth- I saw my dentist over Christmas break and I was shocked when I learned that I had my first adult cavity! I seriously was so down for several days and I am bound and determined to not let that happen again.
