Last weekend, while exploring downtown with my father-in-law, we discovered a new coffee shop located on the wharf called Water and Leaves. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t noticed it there before and was even more bummed that I couldn’t try any right there and right then, as it was 9pm, so Andrew and I added it to our agenda for this weekend.
I loved the aesthetic of this place! So bright and clean, with pops of color throughout the shop. After examining their menu a bit more, I learned that they actually specialize in organic teas, juices, and honey in addition to coffee. I tried their blueberry tea which was delicious, but in the end decided to get an iced coffee.
We sat out in the back of the coffee shop looking out at the marina, watching the kayakers and paddle boarders below before moving on to catch the sea lions and otters along the wharf.
I also wanted to try something new for this post and throw a little fashion into the mix. I feel like my blog is turning into somewhat of a travel blog where I primarily post our most recent adventure, but have been feeling inspired recently to share something different. Plus, I recently snagged these jeans at Old Navy for a really good price and have been loving there fit and wanted to share with you all. They’re so soft, slightly stretchy and are a perfect length for my long legs. Fall is always a good time in my book to stock up on denim, especially with all the back-to-school and Labor Day sales.
