My normal beauty regimen pretty much just covers the basics, or rather what I always saw as basics. Under eye concealer for my dark circles, some foundation, mascara to brighten my eyes and occasionally adding eye shadow for a special occasion or, quite frankly, when I remembered to. Recently, I have been adding a little color to my face and have been loving the results. Here is what I’ve been using:
Blush & Bronzers: I’ve tried bronzers here and there and I have never wanted to use blush because my face and cheeks are naturally rosy. Recently though I have had a change of heart and been using this Bobbi Brown cheek tint in “Sheer Lilac” and have been loving the subtle hint of color on my face. I’ve also been using this shimmer brick from Bobbi Brown in “Bronze”. It is perfect for adding a shimmer to your cheek bone and highlighting your face. Apply it over blush for a flattering shimmer effect or use it by itself, it’s the perfect amount of color to brighten up a bare face.
Eye Shadow: Obviously there are so many colors to choose from when it comes to eye shadow, but I always come back to a skin colored tone for every day use to add a little something to my eye lids that are not too dramatic. I love this one in “Nude Glow”.
Lip Balm or Gloss: For some lip color I recently discovered this Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Balm in “Petal” and fell instantly in love! I am a huge lip balm girl and these are my new number #1. They keep my lips feeling moisturized for hours at a time while adding the perfect amount of color. I’ve also been loving this Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss in “Autumn Haze”.
Nail Color: One of my favorite things about transitioning into a new season is new nail color…corny I know. I love Butter London products and this fall my go to color has been this one in “Toff”.
